Well it appears that we have hit our first little bump on the road to Ethiopia. I mailed all the paperwork to our home study agency before Christmas thinking we would be ready to start our home visits in 2009. I called this week only to have my hopes of having our social worker in our house this month dashed into a million little pieces. Not sure exactly what the hold up is and it's definitely too complicated to explain but looks like this is the first of what will surely be many delays in the process. Our dossier is ready to go except for our home study. Seems crazy that everything is ready and we haven't even seen a social worker yet. Oh well, we keep praying.
In the meantime, life in our house continues to demand our undivided attention as well. Life with an almost 2 year old is interesting to say the least.
