We heard today from our agency that we could get a referral for a little boy in as little as 2-3 months. From there it's another 4-6 weeks for the first court date and then about 2 weeks after that we travel to Ethiopia to bring him home with us.
The thought that we could have him home with us before the end of the summer is just so mind-blowing at this point and my head is spinning. We have had it in our mind that we would travel sometime in the Spring of 2010. So to think that we have 4 months instead of 8-12 months is so exciting and has sent us all into a bit of a frenzy - thinking about all that we need to do, all that we had planned to do with the "long wait" that now might not be long at all!
